Whimsical creatures designed in-house by Fivestone for a Unity VR game in which the player can pivot the viewport on a central point.
Each creature is somewhere between 600 - 1300 polygons and is fully optimized for both mobile platforms and VR. I was responsible for modeling the creatures in ZBrush and then retopologizing them in Topogun and Maya. I was also responsible for UV mapping, texturing and Material set-up. During the modeling and texturing process, I worked very closely with the creative team at Fivestone to match these creatures to Fivestone's creative vision.
The target hardware is Android / iOS paired with Google Cardboard and the HTC Vive.
Hand - painted textures created in ZBrush with minor tweaks in Photoshop on the high - res sculpts then transferred to the low - poly game mesh. UVs created in Maya 2016.
