I wanted to create an environment that featured lots of foliage, since I haven't had much experience with alphas or material work in UE4. I also wanted to show that I can effectively use a high-to-low poly pipeline and get models from ZBrush into UE4, demonstrated here in the bronze Buddha statue. I also wanted to experiment with particle work so I decided to make something small and simple, in this case the candle particle used in the smaller lanterns. It's fairly simple, but I wanted to give more technical art a shot and I'm pretty happy with the result.
